Elegance is no accident

Body shape: your silhouette has its rules.

Body shape analysis identifies your type of silhouette and works out the cuts, volumes and proportions that flatter you — instead of dressing by chance.

Body shape is the architecture of the body

Body shape analysis does not judge a body: it reads it. It measures the proportions between shoulders, waist and hips, and works out your type of silhouette.

The aim is not to “hide” anything. It is to understand the geometry of your silhouette so that every garment works with it, not against it.

Eleven silhouettes, two frameworks

Women's silhouettes

X — Hourglass
Highlight your slim waist (your asset) without compressing it, and keep the shoulder/hip balance.
8 — Voluptuous hourglass
Enhance femininity without accentuating the hips; give the shoulders a little more presence.
A — Triangle / Pear
Broaden the top, slim the bottom, draw the eye upwards.
V — Inverted triangle
Soften the shoulders, create volume at the bottom, show off the legs.
H — Rectangle
Create the illusion of a waist and add volume at the shoulders and hips.
I — Slim h (fine frame)
Fill out the silhouette and create the illusion of a waist, without drowning its delicacy.
O — Round / Oval
Lengthen the silhouette, create a vertical line, open up the bust.

Men's silhouettes

V — Inverted triangle
Do not widen the top any further; balance with the bottom.
A — Triangle
Widen the top, visually slim the hips and the lower body.
H — Rectangle
Energise the silhouette, emphasise the shoulders.
O — Oval / Belly
Lengthen, show off the shoulders, disguise the belly.

What the analysis changes in practice

Knowing your silhouette changes every purchase. Instead of trying on dozens of pieces hoping that “it will fit”, you know in advance which cuts work: straight or tapered trousers, fitted or straight jacket, flared or sheath dress, V-neck or crew neck.

What you get

  • Free, with your account (30 seconds to create): your silhouette.
  • The Image Passport (paid): the cuts that flatter you and what to avoid, as clear pictograms, in the complete document with your photos — a reference to check in the shop, on your phone.

The analysis runs in your browser, from two photos: front and side.

Going further

Body shape analysis tells you which cuts suit your silhouette. Colour analysis tells you which colours to wear, and face shape analysis which shapes frame your face.
