Colour analysis: your colours, measured.
Colour analysis reads four dimensions of your natural colouring — undertone, value, intensity and contrast — to find your season among twelve. Online, for every skin tone.
What is colour analysis?
Colorimetry is the science of measuring colour. Applied to personal image, it analyses the natural pigments of your skin, eyes and hair to determine which colours objectively flatter you — and which ones wash you out.
Mon image relies on four independent axes. Undertone tells whether your natural colouring leans warm or cool. Value measures how light or deep it is. Intensity assesses its saturation — clear or muted. Contrast quantifies the gap between the lightest and darkest areas of your face.
Crossing these four dimensions gives your colour season: one of the twelve profiles of the extended seasonal system. Each season defines a coherent palette — the shades that make you look more present, sharper, more striking.
Twelve seasons, not four
The classic four-season system — spring, summer, autumn, winter — is a good starting point, but it lacks precision. Mon image uses the extended twelve-season system, which splits each season into three variants according to the dominant dimension of your colouring. A Soft Summer has cool, muted colours; a Cool Summer has distinctly cool ones. The difference changes the recommended palette completely.

Every skin tone, with the same rigour
Many online colour analysis tools were calibrated on fair skin. As a result, they struggle to tell undertones apart on dark and mixed skin tones.
The Mon image engine measures your complexion on the photo, point by point, the way a precision instrument would: it reads its real warmth and depth in the CIELAB colour space. It was designed to treat every skin tone with the same rigour — from the fairest to the deepest.
An honest verdict
No method, human or automated, is 100% accurate. Rather than a flattering percentage, Mon image repeats the reading several times while varying the samples, and tells you where things stand: stable result, family certain but nuance to confirm, or new photo needed when the light or the picture does not allow a conclusion.

Going further
Colour analysis tells you which colours to wear. Face shape analysis tells you which shapes frame your face, and body shape analysis which cuts suit your silhouette. The three analyses complement each other in the complete journey.
